Why do Baking Soda Volcanoes work? - By VinCactus

Have you ever wondered how a baking soda volcano works? Me neither! I did the research and found out that it's caused by a decades old feud between Harold Bakingsoda and Vinegar Johnson. In the 1920's, the economy was booming after World War 1. This led to the creation of many new products. One such product was Baking Soda, developed by Gerard Bakingsoda. It produces air so that baked goods can rise in the oven. This was a novel idea at the time, as the only existing form of bread was hardtack. Baking Soda Inc. grew millions of dollars, eventually becoming the lead manufacturer of baking soda. Gerard eventually died, leaving his son, Harold, as the heir to a profitable business. Unfortunately, Harold was excentric to say the least. He would often take money from production, to put it into lavish displays of wealth, at one point allegedly buying a pack of feral lions to eat his neighbor, who was a bit loud at night. The board of directors eventually decided to kick him out of the company, the CEO position being filled by Vinegar Johnson, another famous baking tycoon. This got Harold so mad, that the last thing he did before leaving the company was secretly change the recipe of baking soda, so that it would explode if it ever came into contact with vinegar.
